Poly Group’s First Occupational Skills Competition Successfully Concludes
On September 27, the final of general events of the first Poly Group Occupational Skills Competition was held in Guangzhou. Mr. Li Shiming (chairman of the Chinese Workers’ Technical Association), Mr. Zhang Hao and Mr. Luo Depi (leaders of Poly Group), attended the event.
The final was hosted by Poly Developments. The main venue was set up at the Conference Center of Guangzhou PWTC EXPO, and the branch venue was set up at the InterContinental Foshan Dongping, covering five events: customer service, engineering (electrician), firefighting, Chinese cookery, and restaurant service. The referee teams were all composed of external and internal senior experts to make sure of the fairness.
At the final, 70 contestants who stood out from the trials competed on the same stage, vividly demonstrating the spirit of Poly employees to learn skills, advocate?skills, and strive for the first, as well as demonstrating the enterprises’ achievements of skill-talented team building.
Since its launch in July, the first Occupational Skills Competition of Poly Group has attracted candidates from the whole country, and the competition has been fierce. The competition set up 5 general events of customer service, engineering (electrician), firefighting, Chinese cookery and restaurant service, and 5 single-track events of testers, surveyors, stage technology, civil explosive production, and armed escort, attracting nearly 56,000 skilled talents to compete and learn, stimulating the enthusiasm, initiative, and creativity of Poly employees to make groundbreaking innovations and contributions to the job. The general event finals also marked the end of the series. Craftsmanship makes all industries prosper.
